Sir Elliot 21-Band Graphic Equaliser

Sir Elliot’s 21-Band Vintage Equaliser is first of many new plug-ins designed to function on 88.2 kHz (minimum) and above sample rates.

This will be the new standard of my designs as I will no longer create plug-ins that support 48 kHz and below sample rates.

The 21-Band Vintage Equaliser offers an adjustable frequency range from 11 Hz – 40,000 kHz in addition to sporting an ultrasonic roll-off filter ranging from 10 kHz to 100 kHz.

As with my preamplifiers, the 21-Band Vintage Equaliser brings forth it’s own tonal characteristics. The end result is a rich full tone taking full advantage of the frequency bandwidth ranging from 44,200 kHz to 100,000 kHz.

Hardware Designs

Hi.

I will be focusing on Hardware designs until further notice. Due to designing hardware for the past 20 years, it was inevitable I would sooner or later go back to my roots.

If you are a do it yourself person, you should see a few loudspeaker blue prints displayed in the near future. Bear in mind audio circuits will not be offered free.

VSTs

New VST plug-ins will pop up from time to time. However, the new designs will operate only from 88.2 kHz and above. In the high end Jazz & Classical market 96 kHz, 24-bit is very common and, I find my creativity being limited focusing on anything lower than 88.2 kHz.

In the event you have a question regarding my VSTs currently available, you are more than welcome to contact me using the private messaging service on Gearslutz.

Sir Elliot SL – 1

Hi.

I would to introduce Sir Elliot’s SL –1 Soft Clipping Limiter.

http://i.imgur.com/zqMzs.png

The SL-1 was designed to tame Brass Instruments under live sound reinforcement environments. It will however easily adapt to the recording market.

The SL-1 is more suited for Brass Instruments or female vocals that fall within the Alto range.

Offering a soft limiting technology, distortion is minimised which makes it superb for Jazz & Salsa music.
